01What is ISO certification?+
It is a certificate stating that your business follows the requirements of a published ISO standard, such as ISO 9001 for quality management. The standards are written by the International Organization for Standardization. The certificates are issued by separate certification bodies, not by ISO itself.
02Which ISO standard does my business need?+
Most businesses start with ISO 9001 (quality). Add ISO 14001 for environment and ISO 45001 for workplace safety. Food businesses usually need ISO 22000 or HACCP, IT companies ISO 27001, and medical device makers ISO 13485. Use the standard finder on the home page for a quick recommendation.
03Who issues the certificate?+
The issuing route depends on your selection. Non-IAF certificates are issued under ISAO. For IAF applications, the issuing certification body and accreditation scope are confirmed for your standard and business scope before payment. The issued certificate identifies its issuer.
04Is this an IAF certificate?+
You can choose IAF or Non-IAF. IAF certification is offered for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, ISO 20000-1, ISO 13485, ISO 42001, ISO 27701, ISO 37001 and ISO 50001. The Non-IAF option remains available under ISAO. Select the required type in your application.
05Will this certificate be accepted in tenders?+
Acceptance depends on the tender. Non-IAF certificates do not satisfy a requirement for IAF or NABCB accreditation. If that requirement applies, choose the IAF route and share the eligibility clause so the required issuing body and scope can be confirmed. Acceptance is decided by the receiving authority.
06How long does it take?+
Published Non-IAF turnaround estimates start after complete documents, payment and review. IAF timing depends on the standard, scope and required audits and is confirmed for your application.
07How much does it cost and what is included?+
ISO 9001 starts at Rs 2,500 for Non-IAF and Rs 4,000 for IAF. All ten IAF prices are listed on the pricing page. No GST is added. Review the inclusions, assessment requirements and ongoing surveillance fees for your selected route before payment.
08Do you charge GST?+
No. We are not registered under GST, so the listed price is the final amount you pay. You receive a payment receipt, not a tax invoice, and input tax credit is not available.
09What documents are needed?+
A business registration proof, your letterhead or visiting card, one sales or purchase invoice and a two-line description of your business scope. You can upload them in the application form or send them on WhatsApp.
10How long is the certificate valid?+
Three years from the date of issue, subject to an annual surveillance review. We remind you before each surveillance date and before expiry.
11How do I verify my certificate?+
Open the Verify page and enter the certificate number printed on your certificate. The page shows the company name, standard, scope, issue date, expiry date and current status.
12Can I apply from any city?+
Yes. You can apply online from anywhere in India. Any audit or site assessment requirements are confirmed for your certification type and business scope.
13Can I get more than one standard together?+
Yes. You can select several standards of the same certification type in one application. Published bundle savings apply to eligible Non-IAF standards only. IAF totals are the sum of the individual IAF prices.
14What is the refund policy?+
Fees are non-refundable once payment is made, because work on your application starts immediately. If we cannot issue the certificate for a reason on our side, we re-process the application at no extra cost.
